Safety Recall
It concerns the "possibility of failure of the rear suspension arm under extreme load conditions"
It does state that it is still ok to drive the car but component should be replaced as soon as possible
Just posting this in case anyone who has a late TF doesn't recieve the letter from MG

I have sent an e-mail to Keith Harris (Go on then) to see what they can do for me as I am a 5 - 6 hour round trip from my nearest MG Dealer.

The letter talks about the rear suspension arm whereas that recal refers to the lower swivel ball joint, which must be on the front as you dont have the swivels on the rear.

it would be easier if they sent the parts out to you to fit yourself, rather than the expense of driving there and back :yesnod:

At the end of the day I would be happy with a free fuel fill up.
Last time I went to Summit Garages and had to stopover, so fuel and accommodation was around £250 before any work was carried out. That was to sort a few recalls that hadn't been done.
I don't think I should be out of pocket every time the manufacturing standards of MG are questioned.
