Treating Rust???

The leak from the air intake box has left some surface rust in the footwell... Im going to wire brush it, whats best to treat it with before I hammerite it??

Just any old one...? when I picked up the Kurust from Halfords at the weekend, I was slightly bemused by the amount of different types of Hammerite on offer.
Arrrrghhhhhh, it's a nice day owt... want to fettle... too much work to do ... the dangers of working from home
