Seen any good movies recently

Haven't watched that "Flight" but will look out for it. Was thinking that "Looper" was entertaining and really enjoyed John Carter too.

Recently saw looper, interesting premise, if you enjoyed that try Twelve Monkeys with Bruce willis and Brad Pitt, its a typical Terry Gilliam film but with a thought provoking cause and effect scenario. Would probably put it in my top 10 films, along with Forbidden Planet. Was on a ferry to holland this week, the onboard movie was Life of Pi, actually really enjoyed it, stunning visuals, it really helped when the boat we were on was swaying well through the film....

Anything will Will Ferrell for me.... :broon:

Dredd!! miles better than the naff Sylvester Stallone version, a lot of people werent keen but I loved the cartoon as a kid so... :coat:

Skyfall was brilliant


Hobbit I actually preferred to LOTR, my sons a huge fan so we ended up going twice, the filming's brilliant

Sweeney was a massive dissapointment, some of it was just farcical. :sick:

Thought Argo was good, suspense towards the end was well delivered, interesting to read the True facts after watching the film

I want to watch Zero Dark 30 next

Yep, great movie. Well acted and much more serious than the Stallone offering. :broon:

"flight" is great , totally not what I expected but an amazing performance by denzel washington .

expendables 2 was much better than the first and plenty funny with loads of "in-jokes"

if you just want a laugh madagascar 3 is hilarious , oh and skyfall is immense ! the best bond movie ever ?

I found Expendables2 predictable and shallow but what else to expect? :slapme: It was good to see Chuck Norris. :broon:
One thing that surprised me about The Hobbit was how the dialogue was almost verbatim the words in the book. No wonder it will take 3 episodes!
Seven Psychopaths was Great! (Althogh Mrs. RIV didn't really care for it. :lol: )
And of course there was Skyfall. Best Bond Film Ever!

Going to look out for Dredd on Leigh and Lewis's recommendation.

Funny how you never see the main characters face only his mouth?

Quite enjoyed Jack Reacher. Bit macho sort of film but not bad. Quite enjoyed Argo aswell.
