HI My car has a PRT can you just change the themastat in it or do you have to buy a new PRT

The PRRT is a sealed unit, so you have to change the lot. :yesnod:

Thanks Dave I thought so
On rimmer there are two types a black one and a creamie one the black one is £38 and the other £16 I would think ether would fit [ I bought a oil temp from rimmer amd they had 3 of them £28,£23 and £17 the first two came in named boxes the third didn't } i got the third and it worked OK so thinking the same for the PRT

The white one is the one that comes with the speedstep (auto), the black one comes with non speedstep models. Why I am not sure, but that is what the different colours are for.

Well my VVC has a white one and i seen some where that the black one had a different opening temp to the white one by 1-3 c and i am sure there was a third colour

White on my TF160 too..

I always thought the black was for the Land Rover

HA, black could well be for the landrover as it's twice the price of the white one
