I was just thinking that they came off by pulling / slipping a pairing knife underneath with a rag to protect the paint.
Then remove the existing mesh (rusty).
Cut out a new shape of new mesh.
Silicone it in.
Refit.
Sorry to hijack the thread but seamed an ample point to ask the question.
PS. Good work on the spraying just not for me. And.... Was the centre console hard? I'm in two minds whether to do mine in gloss black, plastidip and then glossifier or carbon dip (cp53's contact).
I'm tempted to just go gloss black or go back to the grey sparkley effect.
Dunno.. Decisions Decisions.

Well hi-jacked. The side vents on my F are held in place by 2 screws (one top, one bottom) which fix in to the duct retainer.
