In your life outside cars and specifically MG's, name three things that you covet: probably lottery win territory.
Note: not car related.

A Gibson ES 175D guitar. Rare and beautiful.
A master class with Eric Clapton.
An apartment in Monaco.

1, box at elland road
2, a Leeds united shirt signed by the 1974 division 1 title winning team
3, a villa in Cyprus.

It's really strange,but I can't really think of anything. Does that make me sad or happy?

Is desire necessarily materialistic? My list has only one material item and I can afford to get one of those anytime. :yesnod:

Perhaps the key is being happy with your lot. Otherwise we might all be on the Ferrari forum. :lol:

I can happily and honestly say that there is nothing I seriously 'covet' in life. Maybe I'm just lucky to be content with the grind of working life. However, if I win the lottery tonight I'd treat all our members to a Ferrari weekend. It's always nice to have a taste of a good thing at least once in your life I reckon. :drive:

At this point in life I mainly covet car stuff.
In lottery win territory that means a house with a very large garage
and the cars to fill it. I have an acquaintance who retired quite well off
and he bought a warehouse to keep his toys in, complete with a hoist, milling machine,
lathe and beer fridge. :beer: That would suit me fine.
As far as cars, of course that depends on the size of the win, from a McLaren at the top to a supercharger conversion on my F at the lower end. Or both...What the Hell!

Other than that it's mainly stuff that can't be bought, Grandchildren, better knees etc
so I'll just have to be patient.

Can't think of three but I would like my own stretch of chalk stream to fly fish on.

1) Ferrari 458 spyder
2) a year out of work
3) enough money to pay for fuel and shipping the Ferrari around the world and drive all the best places on this planet

I'm not a big Ferrari fan.. But boy I'd love a 458 spyder
