I like the simplicity of that Andy (subscribed). But Clive and David know about car cams best I think. They both have good setups. :yesnod:

Yup - discovered the drawback. My iPhone has 429 usable MB of memory left, so I guess that it can't be my music system via Bluetooth and also a video camera...

Judging by the crash videos on Youtube every car in Russia has one, so there must be cheap, reliable cameras readily available. :hgf: :woo2:

I have the DC-1 camera fitted. Cost about £200 and i get an insurance discount

I bought a cheap Chinese one on ebay for around £20.
Takes decent videos but the instructions on usage are confusing B)
Also, the battery life is very short so you need to use the cig. lighter plug.

I have 2 cameras that cost around £500, but to be honest the best all round video is from my phone.

It is a Galaxy Note and takes HD video and, unlike the iPhone, it takes memory cards and currently has a 64Gb card in it.

Ha ha phone wars starting soon! I like the idea but doesn't it restrict the view a little? I'd love to give the wife one. Camera that is, for driving! She drives a lot, like 20k+ a year and I really do worry.
