mgf-reborn - Whats under the boot?

So had a little trip over to see Daryl at http://www.mgf-reborn.co.uk/ as he said firstly his 0A Gina would make me another brew and also a spin in his car..

firstly I can report that the brew was ace :thumbsu:

Secondly the car was fantastic my goodness this car is fast and smart. It is very quick off the mark and breaks even quicker! I would love to know what's under the boot, it sounds great also. There have been some hours put under this car and some of the detailing is smart, even down to the green stitched leather seats very high quality and the carbon fibre plastics and red powder coated sub frames a smart car worth a look...

I am purest and not a fan of modding each to their own I guess but the smart details I would do to mine...

Yer I hope to get these seats... one day! but bit by bit I will get there.. I guess that's why some of us buy British cars I like to do the work that I can and learn by experience in this case Daryl has help me out... plus I got a ride in his motor that car did 0-60 in like 5.5 seconds.. I had my beret on as i had come from work and nearly lost it!

0 - 60 in 5.5 seconds is quicker than Jag XK or Focus RS.

its not 5,5 seconds im afraid,on a dry road in good conditions is around 6,4 ish.we still have a few minor suspension issues ,the brakes still have to be tuned as she is a bit twichy on heavy braking.

Well I have to admit that I was counting in my head still very quick. I once had a ride in a Masrati a few years a go and would say it felt as quick as that... but tbh I`ve not been in that many fast cars... my vehicle is 62 Tons! so not too fast and crap fuel efficiency!

taking henry to see some on the weekend,he wants to see the tigers.

The man that built my engine had a car at his workshop that did 0-100 and back to 0 in 10 seconds ish..

Ozzy was tell ng me about another Lotus that does it quicker.. mind it did cost over 80k
