No good deed shall go unpunished! was created by Cobber

I was doing a favour for a friend today, by running around chasing parts from wrecking yards, for their broken down car. Whilst moving some stuff about in the boot so as I could fit in the toolbag hanging from my shoulder, the damned toolbag swung into my R/H tail light "CRUNCH!"
:oops::slapme::omg::nonod::(:rant:
So now I'm looking for a R/H tail light for a 1997 MGF.
Why is it whenever you try to help someone something always seems to bite you on the arse?
As it says in the subject line: "No good deed shall go unpunished!"
I don't remember who I've quoted with that line, otherwise I'd give them credit for it.

I have a spare one here, just cover the postage and a small donation to the site and its yours...

Cheers Steve, thanks for the offer. But as I need to use the car this week and given that postage from the UK will be at least a week, I'll see if I can unearth one locally first. I wont be able to get hold of one until Monday, if indeed I can get one then. Knowing my luck I'll end up with some mongrel copper slapping an unroadworthy certificate on it, if I drive it with a busted light!
I'll be in touch if my quest is unsuccessful

Thanks Dave, Yeah I've seen it, I haven't been able to get in touch with him yet.
He's up in Benidgo, he dismantled an MGF a few months ago, I've dealt with this bloke before without any hassles.
