LED Security Light
Well I might try one and see. The front of the house gets sunlight all day, the back is sheltered so I can try one for the front and see how it goes.
For the side of the house something like this seams just the job :)_

Most of them come with 5m of lead so you can site the PV panel away from the light itself..
I've got one of these on my garage, and on my workshop..
