An Honour Guard of MG's lining his final journey and respecting his passing would be fitting, and we'd do our utmost to drive North and be part of it.
This is a man of my age who has passed too soon.
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

I'm sure a post will be made once details are confirmed
you may want to turn round though John and head south, as I'm pretty sure that the funeral will be in St Albans Seriously, it's lovely that people like you want to pay their respects to a forum friend, even though you've never met face-to-face. That says so much for the forum and it's members :hugs:

Larry passed away on a Border Patrol outing John. The funeral may be a private concern. That will depend on Larrys' family. It doesn't really matter under these dreadful circumstances. Our thoughts are with them.
However, it's a tremendous heartfelt suggestion that you've made and I'm sure that it's also supported by the vast majority at the T-Bar, Fakebook, .Org, the MGF register and the whole of the wider MG community where Larry was also a member.
Whether we're all invited or not, we can pay our respects to Larry and his family here. I'm sure that they'll drop in at some point in the future, once their grief eventually subdues a bit, to have a read, view the old event pics that he attended ( The Scotland trip and the Italian run to name but two) and revisit fonder times. :hugs:

Funeral details: August 5th Please like the post about the funeral date on Larry's facebook page and add your name if you are attending. Thanks.
The service is to be held at Harwood park Watton Road Stevenage Hertfordshire sg2 around 12 and the burial is to be held at London road cemetery St Albans which all friends can also attend if you wish but we don't expect everyone to attend that part, and then we will get back to you all on the wake as nothing is definite yet.

I can still see Larry at that place on an equally beautiful day, with Johann disappearing into the far distance, like a young colt released onto grassland for the first time.
