hesitant when cold help please

Hi all.any help or sugestions would be off great help Just lately my car has been running lumpy & hesitant when cold, but when it gets up to temp all ok
where shall I start looking or strait to the garage (which I don't really want to do).
just fitted cat back exhaust but I wouldn't think this is problem ??

Sounds like it could be the engine coolant temperature sensor.:shrug:
