May interest one or two..
Mike at Ferriday Engineering makes thermal gaskets for the inlet and exhaust manifold for the K series..
Ive ordered the 7mm thernmal inlet gasket.. and the exhaust gasket..
This from Mike
Cost for a Thermal Inlet Gasket is £43.00 in 5.0mm, or £53.00 in 7.0mm thickness, and the Thermal Exhaust Plate is £46.00. But bought together they are £79.00 and £89.00 respectively plus £5.50 P&P UK Mainland. Availability is usually within a few days.
The other item that is available is a TIG for the plenum, cost £34.00 if taken with the others.
All the best Allan,

Would a thermal inlet gasket make much difference the manifold doesn't get that warm anyway?

A lot will depend on the engine David
An MPi with plastic inlet manifold wouldnt make any difference..
But a more 'tuned' engine running Titans :broon:
Again induction route/filter play a part..
Probably not worth it for most F/TFs on the road.. but for those looking to mod their engines for more than 160 BHP.. every little helps
Probably need re-mapping or an Emerald to really see the benefits
