Good Morning everyone. I hope everyone's week has been as positive as mine has. I have had a great first week at university, and things have become very "real". The class seems to be integrating into a pretty tight knit group. Today we will elect student reps for both the Mental Health and Adult Health groups, and we also get to meet our personal tutors. They will be with us for the next three years while we navigate our way through our degrees.
Two or three years ago I would have woken up and dreaded the start to the day. This morning - I was planning meals, and planning homework time, and dog walking time, and going for a drive time, and all that good stuff. I can only thank my God, and my family, and my friends, for helping me to get through the really dark times.
Whatever you are up to today - enjoy it and be good to yourselves and others. You deserve it.
