Why do I keep getting a message asking if I want to stop a slow running script as it may affect Internet Explorer, everytime I open a page on this forum?

What version of internet explorer are you on.

That error message would normally indicate you've got a dodgy toolbar or add-on loaded

I am running IE 8. Any idea what else it could be as I only have the original tool bar and the last add-on was loaded 3 months ago?

IE8, doesn't like the latest forum update. Can you update to IE9?

To be fair David T-Bar has never worked well on IE8. It's one of the key reasons I don't log on as at work that's all we have - or need - and now I can't log on via IE8. It just goes into a loop.

Had to use my iPhone to post this.

I don't have an option as like DJM it's a work pc. Thanks for the input, looks like I'll have to work from home!
