I had a J Reg Midget for a long time. Mustard Yelliw.
And a Triumph Vitesse. Both well used by the time I got 'em.
Both dreadful engineering examples, but charismatic. Now. A nightmare then.

Spitfire? A Herald chassis with a minidress on.
Best not say owt bad about the Maestro.

Or TC will assemble the Angry Mob.
Maestro Turbo. Massive Torque Steer. :yesnod: Montego Turbo also.
Oops. Too late....
:coat:

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

My uncle had a Triumph Herald in the sixties. I loved it.

Many decades ago I had to scrap my old faithful 1964 Ford Anglia (special 3 cyl version) because the bottom had rotted away and bought a Hillman Imp, with a revolutionary transverse rear mounted engine with an all aluminum block and head; unfortunately they suffered from overheating issues and head gasket failures (nothing changes)

Wrong decade, maestro was '83 and the monty a year later.

T16 maestro doesn't have torque steer issues as the wheels light up to quickly.
