Bit of cross posting going on. On the original Kaffenbak post I suggested a sequil to Alison's Country Kitchen, High Street in Tattenhall. October 19 or 26. Has to be Sat as she doesn't open Sunday. Plenty of parking at the back of cafe, off road. I was thinking a North Wales to Cheshire type of meet.
Might be some interest from Shropshire/ West Midlands owners as well.

Bit far away for those of us in South West, so would love to hear from any MGF'ers in this area interested in coastal/exmoor run with a suggested lunch stop Woolacombe/Croyde area ?

If your doing Woolacombe surely it's got to be 'The Red Barn' - or if it's Croyde, it has to be 'The Thatch'?

Agree never miss The Red Barn on our visits to Woolacombe, occasionally a bacon buttie at beach cafe at Putsborough after walking to the other end of beach, where are you based ? we're just outside Minehead.

Ahh yes, Putts is a lovely beach - bit of a perilous drive though with those high hedges!
We're a bit further north....in Cheshire!

agree with you on the hedges.....seen a few people find out that they actually 'clothe' stone banks when they brush against them, usually do the beach walk to putts or drive upto Croyde from Braunton end since getting the F, never minded as much when we had a Trooper as people gave way to us...lol

Went to Woolacombe last year, but drove straight through due to the exorbitant parking charges.

The next meeting on anyone's list should really be this one:

C'mon folks - fish & chips on the front, lovely motors to admire, a drive through the lights and it's all in a good cause - whats not to love?
Would be good to see you there :broon:
