Maybe not - he just looks it. ;)

Anyway you young 'whippersnappers'...

I went on a week long surfing trip and bought myself a new surfboard for my 40th.
Was a great week and the day itself was epic!
7am - 8:30am surfing
then back for bacon butties & bubbly, which then led onto a day long pub crawl (including a Devon cream tea) and live music in a bar at night.

Couldn't of asked for more :broon:

10 years ago tomorrow :-) got drunk. Then went diving the following day, had a shallow water blackout, trip in an ambulance and 2 days in hospital :nonod: . Not a great birthday! hopefully this year should be better.

Got seriously drunk; been topping up the hangover ever since, that will be 20 years ago in 2 months and 17 days time "another serious hangover is booked for then"

I predict as normally it goes for the first ten minutes i will probably get some new socks or slippers of me kids who before much longer will ask for a dadtask of some sort and quickly remind me what they want for there birthdays.

Not this time,the big forty a couple of years off but i intend to enjoy it fancy a skydive with me eldest girls and wife,never done it,got to tick it off the list.

17 years ago for me, but as I recall I took Joanna Lumley lingerie shopping in the Aston, followed by a really wild champagne-fuelled night at the casino in Monte Carlo, where we were joined by Helen Mirren. We all went back to her place. Woo.

Or

We went to see the Northern Lights in Norway.

To be honest I don't remember what I did, proberbly went to work like most birthdays. I do remember my 30th as my ex did a very bad job of hiding that she had arranged a suprise BBQ.

TBH age is just a state of mind, I feel younger than I did 20 years ago, must be down to Mrs TC ;)

A mate at work went a bit silly and cycled through death valley, in mid summer, on a folding bike - nutter!
