really? wrote: i'm going to check out contract deals also.. if the unit is £550 anyway for 3/4G it could be worth moving my data allowance to that instead of my phone. :pop:
Depending on your phone tariff / contract, that could be a way to go, or not
Ive just got myself on Three's The One plan ( or Ultimate Plan - something like that) - £15 a month for unlimited data, including tethering to any device, and once 4G is available, there will not be a tariff premium and will still be unlimited. Guess it depends on whether youll generally have your phone with you when using mobile services but that might also be beneficial for phone use as well as tablet use.
I used just under 9Gb for this first month on Three

Signal for me is better than EE as I was before. Browsing speeds are faster in general but I'd even take a small hit on speed for the peace of mind I dont have to worry about apps updating, syncing stuff and streaming whatever wherever.
Speed-wise, I have recorded 12Mb/s download and just shy of 2Mb/s upload which is ridiculous - and thats not 4G. Using uTorrent, i have been able to download at 1Mb/s over the mobile network. Crazy really.
