The Pedantry and Petty Nit-Picking Division.
Interiour is deemed to be an obsolete form. Not used anymore.
You're nicked, me old beauty.
Now ......... back to my PVC maid uniform to practice my curtsey.
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

No 'U' in interior. :nonod:
See me in the Inspector's office after your shift. :spank:
I beg to differ, "Interiour" is an acceptable spelling, I'll grant you it's a bit old fashioned and probably largely obsolete these days as our language continues to changed by the illiterate grunters, texters and the damned yanks (unkind, less charitable folk might suggest that they are all one and the same)
But I still resist and shall restore the letter "U" to words such as "Interiour", "Colour" "Flavour" etc. For the leave the "U" out of such words leaves them both colourless and flavourless!
Cobber (and John), can you point me in the direction of a reference to interiour because in my 60 years I've never seen interior spelt with a 'u' so I'm quite interested in this ( I know - sad).
I completely agree with you about colour, flavour and other misspelt Americanised words, center being my favourite pet hate but I really don't think interior is one of those. If it is, I will of course hold my hands up and will be suitably enlightened.

Thanks David, I am suitably enlightened.
I wonder when it was decreed as obsolete?

The inter web: a wondrous thing. Mostly.
And it's interieur. With an accent over the first e.
