The sport has always needed the big buck. Sad that crappy drivers with big sponsorship will get the drive over better drivers with none. Maldonado over Hulk is the best example. The 2014 grid will be peppered with moving chicanes: good drivers but with no experience like the McLaren new nobody. And others in the lower teams.

My hopes for 2014:
Renault make a complete ricket of the new engine, thus making RBR a midfield/back team.
Williams rise again against all odds.
Ditto McLaren. And whup Team '8 Bosses' Mercedes. One of whom is a bloke called Toto? After Dorothy's dog? Really? Rumours are that another boss is called Fifi LaBelle.
Ross Brawn leads the FIA: deposing Todt, ineffectual Ferrari bum-snogger. FIA, who have pledged to drive down costs whilst making everyone develop completely new tech at mahoosive cost. Ross would bring some sense back.
The back-grid teams up their game to stop 2 and 3 tier races.
Button doesn't mention understeer, oversteer, low downforce, strange vibrations etc etc on the first lap. And just say ' I may be the most experienced Brit, but I'm a bit crap really. I only won the title thanks to Ross Brawns exceptional car.'

Answers on a postcard....

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Better still, all the drivers turn up to the track on a Thursday and draw lots to see which car they will be driving in for that weekend.

It's been vigorously denied. So it's probably true.

I think Toto Wolff had a significant share in Williams, which he has reduced since joining Merc.
Sceptics may say that's why his Missis is a development driver for Williams......

Yes agree suzi at williams a interesting point.
Lauda, wolf, lowe wanted brawn out of the team he originally bought from honda,Brawn a very astute guy would have seen it coming and probably had everybody looking west while he as been plotting north.Strange time to officially leave new years eve.

I am sure we will hear of him investing in williams,Frank wants him but cant afford his salary, however if he invests and gets shares in the business it could be different. He as millions from when he sold Brawn.

Even more bizzare news this week double points at the last race.
