Just ordered a slick shift from Mike Satur for my LE500..

Trouble is my gear knob is affixed using a wire c-clip...the slick shift gear stick is threaded M10..

I'd like to keep the same style of knob if I can although mine appears to have a brownish tinge to it..stop it!...see below...

Do all the other MGF and TF knobs use the M10 fitting?....and what style of knobs are available to replace mine?

No mine is standard used a tie wrap to make the gator fit perfect also have an alloy top gaiter ring. All an illusion, no short shifter

Left a bad taste in my mouth that episode did!

These 'knob quotes' just get better and better.

I find that the 'lump of aluminium' type gearknobs look great, but they're so damn cold to the touch on those frosty trips, especially in the morning. If you haven't got a dedicated knob warmer, putting a sock, a boiled egg warmer or even a glove on it helps.

Just be prepared folks.. Here's a pic of my mate 'Jan Ostentatious' modelling last years fashionable knob warmer.
