SORRY but you dont need a slick shift if you have an LE500 as it all ready has an up rated shift

You could always araldite a plastic sleeve inside the knob and cut an M10 thread into it.:shrug:

Try one of these from a Ford Fiesta MK 7

I got one from a Zetec screws on M10 a treat all leather nice and warm £10.00

I do hope the MS version is an improvement coz the LE500 all plastic version is a tad vague...

I'm a bit late to this thread but here's my addition.
Real carbon fibre with a threaded alloy insert in the correct 10x1.25
I didn't use the locknut as the thread is nicely recessed and the knob
is able to screw well down over the shaft of the shifter.
It doesn't get cold either! :clap:
