Fitted my 52mm throttle today. I have been waiting for an air filter to turn up and do both together but got sick of waiting.
Easily done.
Undo big hoseclamp and remove rubber air filter hose.
Remove 2 breather hoses and electrical connection at engine side of throttle.
Remove throttle cable.
Undo 4 x 8mm bolts around body. Lower rear bolt has fitting for elect cables.
Reverse for installation of new throttle.
I made sure new throttle was clean to prevent grit in motor.
I also got Sweetie to give accelerator pedal full throttle then checked that it actually was fully open. It was.(in case cable needed adjustment)
Done Leighs TPS reset and away it went.
Does feel a little more responsive and it also gives more "throttle noise"
:woohoo:
