Onboard Action Cameras
Though I would go out for a short spin last Saturday lunchtime to test an action camera mounted on the inside of the windscreen.
To see my effort please go to :- vimeo.com/84545939
I thought the camera was very steady and the colours not too bad given such a grey day!
Any questions and/or comments?

What camera did you use?

It took me a while to work out you were driving on the wrong side do the road - right for you I suppose :slapme:
Very quiet for a Saturday afternoon, must be fun driving around there. Very flat too - thought it was Brittany at first but didn't see any bilingual signs. Further north then, Normandy?
Could be the makings of a new game here if we all got on board cameras

based on the video title I'd assume a 'Drift HD Ghost'??

The Drift HD Ghost (if that's the one in your video) sells for approx £250.00 I think,
I have a really cheap one for £20.00 - and you can definitely see the reason for this price difference:

The actual direct Vimeo link contains further information as follows ;_
" Short trip out on Saturday 18 January 2014 in MG TF with a Drift HD Ghost attached to the inside of the windscreen using a Drift Suction Cup Mount. Roof down. Microphone on lead tucked into passenger headrest."
Shot taken in the Grand Champagne region south of Cognac i.e. the prime cognac grape growing region of the Charente. The countryside comprises rolling hills primarily cover in vineyards. The scenery may have looked flat because I was driving along a road running along the bottom of a valley until towards the end of the shot before entering the village.
The traffic levels about right. However one must keep a look out for tractors etc as this is a high agricultural (viticultural) region.
This region has the second highest sunshine levels in France: though you would not think it from the video. I'll take my next video on a sunny day
