Bobbybrown on .org did a kit with blank keys and flip case with MG logo...I have one myself..dunno if he is still doing it..

If you look on Org, there is a whole thread about flip keys. There is a guy on there doing them for pekron style fobs.

Pektron are the oval shaped with three buttons, right?

I have the angled one with two buttons.

The one in the ebay link would be the correct shape I think, the blade seems to be the problem...

I got a kit from the guy on .org. If I recall correctly he has a choice of 2 key blades.
The kit was pretty straightforward once you get the spring figured out. It took a bit of
dremelling but wasn't bad. The only drawback is you have to glue the two halves of the
case togerher which makes changing the batteries a project.

He solved that issue..the latest cases are screwed together..changing batteries is a doddle..

Just a thought - if you glue it together how do you get it apart to change the battery when it dies?

i dismembered one of my flip keys so i could wear just the key blade around my neck when i'm in the sea :woo2:

don't trust those key safe things, they're just an advert that you're away from your car :dry:
