Hi Everyone, after an extended absence due to work, family and MGB commitments I thought I better comeback to the T-Bar fold. recently I have had a few issues with the my 1997 F.
  • Failed brake booster/servo, due to corrosion
  • Cracked windscreen for no apparent reason
  • SRS light that wouldn't go out

Since my MGB is off the road at the moment I thought I better do something about the F so I have something to run at the upcoming clubday. Yesterday was spent re-installing the half cage and a happy bonus was; when I pulled the seats out to put the cage in, I accidentally fixed the problem with the SRS. I was also lucky with the cracked windscreen since my wonderful wife had ticked the no excess on windscreen box on our insurance renewal without me knowing and better yet the local glass repairer had a windscreen for an F in stock and managed to fit it the same day.

Its good to be back. ~ Craig

Hope you don't need the roll bar.

Me too, but given I was doing 200 km/h last time I was on the back straight at Symmons Plains Raceway I'd rather have it than not. I also hope I don't have to get to the engine bay for a while since I have to remove the bar to get the hatch off and it took several hours of knuckle scraping torture to put it there.

Robust perhaps, but not effective as a windstop....... ;)

I have to say I was surprised they had it in stock, pleasantly surprised though.

His Mom wrote a note to say he had a verruca and couldn't get damp feet from wet leaky MG carpets. In case the infection spread to the HG.

Honest.

Welcome back.

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..
