Returning to the fold

Honest.
Welcome back.
Funny you should say that, while re-installing the roll bar on the weekend I discovered the carpet underlay on the passengers side has a similar consistency and bouquet to the River Ankh.

Thank you sir and just to prove my new found commitment, I ordered a new set of tyres for the car this morning. I've gone for Toyo Proxes T1R's again with 195/50/15's on the front and 205/50/15's on the back not a bad price either $640.00AUD balanced and fitted with an alignment thrown in.
:woohoo:

Fairly good price you got too. The alignment is a bonus. 4 wheel? If so that's around 100 upside- down dollars worth, if front only, still 50 bucks, based on UK prices. Round our way at least, regional prices vary a bit.
To prevent another outbreak of Tyre Wars, I have to say that other tyres are available for MG's.
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

I did look at other options including Pirelli and Falken and to be honest the T1R's were not my first choice but they seem to be best at what I use the car for i.e. a mix of daily driving and club level motorsport.
