Regulars will know that we are F1 fans. Is it just us or is anyone else enjoying the lack of Sebastian's bony finger and his obvious displeasure?

"Oh no, ze Smiley-Faced Simple Sheisskopf Ricciardoioioioi ist doing much better than me mit ein resulten. Mein Gott, Christian, giff him ze Vebber poo-toiletten technology from off of ze last season so I look goodenstatd. Vhat, you haff given ze Vebber cack to me? In mein kar? Donner und blitzen. Lancaster bomberen my grandma, in Dresden in her chip shop innit. For sure.
Sheissen.

Adrian, why do you not returnen my calls? Is it because I is Deutsche?"

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Absolutely loving it, nothing says F1 happiness like a discombobulated Sebastian Vettel

It's been nice to see the shake up this season. I enjoying seeing Force India and Williams doing well.
The Bahrain race was one of the best ever.
McLaren's certainly falling flat though. Dennis must be about ready to start beheading staff members.

Lewis is a happy boy but beware lads, Red Bull is getting their act together.

It is brilliant this year, I am loving it. But I still hate the radio messages, 'Back off to protect the tyres!' or 'Slow down, watch your fuel!". Its the pinnacle of motor sport, It should be flat out all the time.

Chris

don't agree, for me it's a very boring season so far. I don't get why a dominating Hamilton & Merc team would make it more exciting than a dominating Vettel & RB team...

John, did you learn German from Charlie Chaplin? Sounds like 'The Great Dictator'... :P

I never subscribed to the Vettel adulation. 'This guy is wonderful' fan club. I always wondered how Vettel would do in a car that wasn't streets ahead of the pack.
So far the answer is not as good as a smiley Aussie. So that is a definite plus point for me.

My favourite driver is leading the championship so that's another plus point.

One car a second a lap ahead of the rest is just more of the same. Different car.,but still a negative point.

Imagine what the races will be like when it gets serious and Mercedes (and the other teams)stop the two boys racing each other. Negative point.

The cars sound like they are running on mushy peas. Farting their way around the track. Negative point.
I see Mercedes are trialling a Megaphone exhaust to make the sound better` Come on! Really? :omg: Memories of little 125 motorbikes running round with Mega exhausts on trying to sound like a "proper" bike! How about flashing leds as well. John would go for that I'm sure! :P

Lotus and Grosjean seem to have finally got into gear. Plus point

Maldonado is still knocking lumps off his own car and being a danger to everyone else. Negative point

Williams look as if they've remembered how to build a good car. Plus point.

Mclaren haven't. Negative point.

Caterham and Marussia still haven't got a clue. Negative point.

So a mixed bag really. For me the novelty of someone other than Vettel probably swings it to positive overall.

A bit reminiscent of the 2009 season when Merc was brawn. At least Merc allow Rosberg and Hamilton to race at moment ,the end of 2 races we have had a will he wont rosberg overtake Hamilton which makes good viewing.
The double pointer at the end of season in my opinion is daft.
Vettel done a good job in spain,REDBULL will be back sooner or later, dependant on how quickly Renault can sort the engine out.
Dissapointed The talent that is ALONSO once again been handed a below par Ferrari.
Happy williams have improved and love the Martini Livery.

Monaco next! :woohoo: having been in 08 we always look forward to this race.

Note to those with Sky F1 HD: Classic Monaco 2014 is on Friday evening: different era cars on the circuit.

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

The best years for F1 are those when more than one team are in contention. Simply swapping Red Bull domination for Mercedes domination changes nothing.
