What was your favourite car owned by your dad?

OK so this first one is not a car but I loved sitting in the sidecar with my two brothers.

Of the cars my dad had this was probably my favourite...

None of them really but these 2 I remember the ford anglia was my dads 1st ever car

The first and favourite car I recall was a Humber Hawk Series 3, the rounded one before the Snipe shape. It was born in the late fifties same as me. Two tone blue and light grey, reg TPT 518. Next fave was its replacement, a brand new in 1965 Zodiac Mk 3. White with black vinyl seats which my short trousered legs stuck to in hot weather.

A variety of company Rover P6 followed and his last car, which he enjoyed for only a few months before his early death in the late seventies was an Oyster gold Capri Ghia.

I remember an orange Fiat Ritmo.

After an orange VW Beetle it was our first five door car, I got my own doors!! :woohoo:

Lada 1200 because it became my first car.

Non. My dad had terrible taste in cars.

My dad had a flying Standard 12, which was laid up during WW2.
He saved his petrol coupons for holidays & we mainly went to N. Devon, travelling overnight, with my sister & I tucked up under a blanket on the back seat.
The rust gremlins finally got it

I couldn't afford the Lada 1200 when I was a student I had the FSO 1200 :lol:

I don't know which was more embarrassing; owning the FSO or being the idiot who tried to steal it. :omg:
