Favourite watch - Which is yours?
The recent limited edition 1950s MG TD radiator grille inspired offering looked OK until I spotted the price ..£1400 :slapme:
There have been quite a few other watches featuring the MG logo but not many have particularly interested me.. I would however love to own a 1960's MG Heuer Carrera
Back to subject of the post - Your favourite watch...
Of the watches I currently own (17  ) these are my current top three, in no particular order..
What's the favourite watch you own?

I've had one of these since I was 16.
Omega Flightmaster.
I inherited my dad's Omega Speedmaster and Omega stopwatches.
Note these pix have been harvested from the net as I couldn't be arsed digging out the watches and taking pix of 'em

The time is going by quickly enough without watching it

I do have two fob watches. One was bought for my 21st birthday by my Granny. A Swiss Rodania with a mountain scene of Chamoix on the cover.
And a silver one that I have been unable to locate for a while. It's in the house somewhere!
edit:- I also have my late father's Omega.

Latest addition is an Invicta S1 (it's mainly the pattern of the band I like):

Here it is:
This week however I'm mainly wearing on of my Russian mechanical watches. It's a Vostock sailor watch:
For a bit posher I either wear a Seiko Diver (mechanical) on a really nice 'deployment' strap or a Russian Slava mechanical with upside down numbers:
And just to show that David A and I share the same taste in leather (furniture) here is my fob watch (not as fancy as his):
Would you also like to see my collection of 'man bags'?

Posted 10 years 5 months ago #145658My Grandad's watch, that he got after 30 years in a factory, is mostly sentimental to me. I daresay it's worth a few quid too though. Although, I'd never part with it. I loved the old boy too much for that. :yesnod:

I wish it were a retirement thing, but at 47 I have more than a few years to wait, particularly since our government have decided that anyone born after January 1966 will not be able access their superannuation until age 70.
I always wanted one of these, but I cannot ever see me being able to afford one;
