Main reason: going back a bit was the ' men are pricks' comments from someone.
I don't consider myself a prick, an opinionated dick maybe, but not a prick. I hope.
So, ta-ta , enjoy your car, albeit with lcds, spoilers, carbon fibre and whatever cack you choose to make your car much heavier and less pure with..

John, I don't know what you refer to in the post above but I do hope you will reconsider your decision.
I must echo Bryan's comments and add what a pleasure it has been to have 'met' you.
PS I often thought you were a dick
One of the funniest, most genuine, caring, thoughtful, knowledgeable people I've seen on an MG forum.
Hope to see you soon.

I'm not sure what it is you're referring to specifically but I hope you reconsider your decision.
Some of your posts are opinionated but there's nothing wrong with that. Many of your posts are really useful and helpful, particularly the ones containing snippets from your engineering background.
I also enjoyed your 'father and son' discussions with Ben :bust:

sorry to see you go - please reconsider your decision, if you leave for a single unpleasant comment only you're really a dick...

Here, fleetingly.
Paul, in the thread concerned, you inserted a 'surely' iirc.
I don't think I was the only bloke offended by the generalisation tbh.
To refresh, the bare comment was 'men are pricks'
Normally things like this don't bother me, but as a Son, Dad and Grandad of ladies who I greatly respect, along with womenfolk in general I did take offence to being lumped in with aggressive male driver prickdom.
OP, you know who you are.

John I do think you have taken the post in question way too seriously. That upset you this much? Let's get this into perspective..... you took weeks of B.ongo and months of Softly~S in your stride and this makes you quit the T-bar?
Am I missing something here?
