I have been able to highlight at least 20 inaccuracies and contradictory statements (read lies) within their documents! The push is now on to get as many objections into the council as possible. If you would like to join our list of objectors then this link takes you directly to the relevant page.
EDC Planning
It's a simple matter of clicking on objection and supplying name address and email. Simply write 'I object.' in the comments box and submit. If you wish you can add your own comments but the important part is to click objection.
I couldn't possibly say that if you copied your objection comments here that I would look at the best 6 and be grateful. That would be grossly improper, wouldn't it? I'd be a mug to do anything like that...
I really would be grateful for any help on this, but will not hold it against you if you don't...much!

The application is in and we have about 330 objections so far, including our MP, Carlisle to Settle Railway, Pennines area of outstanding natural beauty, Lake District national park, Cumbria Bat trust, RSPB, etc. Hopefully the carpet baggers will be given the heave ho. We raised enough money to employ several specialists, including audible disturbance and visual intrusion. We now have a 3D video demonstration to present to the planning committee as well as a special in depth de-construction of the planning application. The application is so poor it would be laughable if it wasn't so serious. The specialist development company turns out to be a couple of fly by night chancers with a string of failed companies behind them.
Thanks to every one who has helped us so far.
It's not too late to add your objection to the Council website HERE . :help:

Hi, I don't live anywhere near so not a lot to do with me but I'm sorry,am I right in thinking this development is for ONE turbine.
We have places up north with 5 in a field and we have dozens off the coast.
Always like to see them, a modern windmill.
These ones off our coast look brilliant, beats an empty horizon anytime.

Luckily for us the threee windfarms around us got rejected. We would have been surrounded. The closets would have been 1/2 mile down the road with Five 500 foot turbines. Directly opposite us and only a mile away was going to be another Seven with a 2nd phase planned to take it up to a Dozen and behind us again about a mile would have been another Eight of these 500 foot tall monstoers. As we are one the Fens there would ahve been no escape from there presence.
As it now we only have the two smaller ones few miles away inland then there is the 80+ at Skegness just offshore.
