i'm past caring what the numbers are, they sure as hell won't be heading downwards. :yesnod:

i just fill it when the light comes on and repeat. :woo2:

i think one of the best was brimming a Discovery TD on some scottish outer isle for about £145, it was like the numbers would never stop :lol:

so did I when I was working now its once ever 2 months and then I only paid £1:07 a ltr as I got 20p off per Ltr thanks to Tesco

JUST TO KEEP IN MIND the MGF TF tank was a 50L one..... so only 0.87 litre left (whenever fully topped last time!!!!!!!!!!!)

Always thought that the TF had a large tank meself: 50 litres, just shy of 11 of Her Majesty's gallons.
Also, I've never ever seen a tank of such strange shape. If you take a corner in a spirited fashion you can gain/lose an eighth of a tank on the gauge.

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

I called in my local garage, and had to pay cash. Never put £50 in ever, normally 30/40 so yes its gone up regardless of what the owner told me. Also having to pay cash, means he will not pay his merchant fees on the card payment. I'm not going back to be honest, and I'll buy my fuel elsewhere, its another business taking advantage of not just me, but his Bank too.

MY 159 has a 70 litre tank and only does 18mpg - scary stuff at the pump!
