Never heard of an dealer enhanced special like this, the Panther & Cheetah were Dealer modified specials, i very small numbers. In the case of the Panther, the dealer bought 5 cars in the same colour (black) and enhanced them, plus one Mk2 in silver. I have traced them all.

I'll see if the owner will give me the vin.

I suspect a bit of self stuck on chrome strip is whats around the hood base and rear light.
I've seen people do this around the hood base, can look OK on the right car.
