Took the trailer to the garden center to pick up a 1/2 cubic meter of soil.
It's @ a 10 km round trip.
On the return trip, as I took off at the lights of a major intersection, I felt something was a bit wobbly back there, and of course there was nowhere to safely pull over, so I had to keep going until I could find somewhere safe to pull over.
The wheel beat me to the kerb! :omg: then leaped over a fence into someones front garden!
I had to keep dragging the laden trailer until I could safely pull over in a side street.
All 5 wheel nuts were missing, the hub was OK and the wheel studs were fine.
So it's a bit of a mystery as to how it happened, there weren't even any witness marks on the wheel studs, which would be consistent with loose nuts.
Anyway I jacked the trailer up, stuck the wheel back on with some spare wheel nuts and got it home, singing: "It's a fine time to leave me loose wheel"

"Keep calm, relax, focus on the problem & PULL THE BLOODY TRIGGER"
