I do do Facebook and it's still a mystery to me!! I just don't understand why people post some of the things they do.

However, it is a great way of keeping up with our son and his lovely lady as they travel around SEAsia. It lets us share the experience with them through photographs and messages.

Going out to Thailand to meet up with them next week, so really looking forward to that :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:

Sorry guys, it's just that I think it's a very accurate lampoon of the majority of facebook dross I have to wade through to get to any beneficial stuff. Although with a car orientated bent.
The number of times absolute nonsense appears on my facebook where I have to prepare to be amazed, astounded, have my gob smacked, or just pick up my jaw from the floor, to be actually totally underwhelmed by it all, is legion. :bang:

edit:- stay away from those girly bars, Robin! :spank:

We were thinking of having a game o ping pong seeing as they seem to be so keen on it

Plan is for a fairly active holiday and am going to have a go at scuba (possibly snuba) diving as it's something I've always wanted to do. My problem is that I'm very shortsighted so, though my vision improves underwater, I still miss a lot. I have got a pair of prescription swimming goggles which I use for snorkeling but I don't think they'd be any good for actual scuba.

Really looking forward to the trip, the photos coming back, from Vietnam so far admittedly, are fantastic :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Most decent dive set ups will have a series of prescription lenses that fit into their masks. Usually in 0.5 dioptre steps. So just get something the same or less than your prescription. :yesnod: Ask when you are picking your dive centre.

I've bitten the bullet and ordered a mask in my prescription which should be here today. I'll have to try it out watching telly tonight :bust:

It will come in handy for snorkelling anyway as I usually try to do a bit of that when in warmer climes

You'll need to clean the coating off the inside of the glass, or it will keep steaming up. I use toothpaste and an old tooth brush. :yesnod:
