front fogs
Im lookin at fitting fogs into my tf and was curious which fog lights fit??
Are all mg and rover fog light units the same for all models??
Eg would rover 25 or mg zr fog lights fit the tf?? Or will only tf specific fogs fit??
Also ive read that I need the mounting brackets for them to be installed into the bumper ... but also heard that some cars came with the mounting brackets already installed in the bumper ... if this is the case from what year was they fitted to as standard??
For referance my cars was registered in mid september 03 and is on a 53 plate
cheers folks

You are correct to think for themselves to resist the fog SAME LIGHTS ROVER 25 and 200 and ZR BUT HANG ON THE INSIDE DIFFERENT from what year were put maybe it's the individual items for which you have had to pay

I already have fogs on my 160, but as usual, find the light output poor.
Are there better bulbs available or even replacement lamps that will fit ok?

Other than get under and look there's no easy way to find out if your car has the brackets I imagine that on the TF if you remove the blanking plates you'll be able to feel the brackets if they are there. Anyone confirm that?

You can get Nightbreakers in H3 fitting which I think is what the fog bulbs are.

Ill have a look in a minute to see if the brackets are there and report back.
Can anyone confirm if I need to purchase tf specific fogs or would any other rover or mg fogs fit .
I ask the question because theres plenty on ebay but they all say for rover 25/45/75 mg zr/zs/zt/tf .. I dont want to buy and then not fit

I know its an F rather Than a TF but when i took the front bumper off my F the fog lights were attached to the car rather than the bumper using the plastic surrounds around the lights.

Mine was an F mind not a TF so it may be different. Worth a look though.
