Hi Guys have owned 'our' MG about a month now
and have the following problems:
the electric mirrors won't work
the glove box light won't work

does anyone else find the drivers seat belt holder really bites into my gut :(

I have checked the relevant fuses & the bulb but their both OK
I thought about shortening the seat belt thingy but it is attached to something ( safety, anti submarine ??)
do I just need to lose weight :omg: :omg: :omg:

all help appreciated

:bust: Your not the only one who could do with losing weight ............... now your electrical problems are probably to do with the relays in the BCU unit. I know little to nowt about the TF but have seen this topic mentioned several times. Hopefully someone familiar witht eh TF and it's forbiles will be along before too long and offer reasoned advice.

BTW welcome to the Mad house. :broon:

Only thing I can add is that the glove box light only works when the sidelights are on.

Just had a thought about the E/M ............................ remove door cards and check the wires. I now recall that "Elsie's" passenger mirror does not heat up/demist like it should and found the wiring frayed through. I havea replacement mirror to fit which I must find and fit whilst she is being worked on.

When the car's running and they work, it's constantly on 24/7, 365 days a year. You'll know because the mirror feels warm to the touch and will evaporate spit. Or some other more hygienic liquid. [strike]Such as urine.[/strike]
