Staying in a gite in the Loire valley.
Hope the immigrants & Unions behave themselves :-? Using the tunnel, so probably better & they don't seem very active around lunch time.
Leaving the 160 at home though, as we will be doing some serious wine shopping & my Merc. E320 has a huge boot.
Will have to control my right foot as I got done 90eu for speeding earlier in the year :(

It took me two looks to actually notice him in there. Poor sod! That can't have been pleasant!

Enjoy your holiday, Roger! :yesnod:

Well, we had no problems clearing Calais & stayed overnight at the Kyriad hotel adjacent to Auchan.
Recommended for a cheap over night stay, has in room wifi, English tv & tea making facilities. Not much room to throw a cat, but for £35 double can't be bad. Has bar & restaurant as well, but their is a superb Chinese within walking distance.
Arrived at the gite late afternoon. It is fantastic :yesnod: Out in the sticks but only 3 k from Brou, an attractive town.
Probably over 200 years old but has been renovated superbly. Again has everything you want, beautifully furnished, with all mod. cons., inc. wifi & swimming pool for £250/week
Has an outside bbq on the terrace which we will be using this week [hopefully]
