Hi Everyone.
I have been trying to find the answer to this question but nothing yet.
Why did my heater run cold when the water in the heating system was over heating. I have an MG TF with the PRT.
Thanks
Simon

Air/ gases entering the heating circuit and lodging in the heater matrix.

Or that was where the air lock was. If the air lock stops the coolant from circulating, you know what comes next!

The heater matrix bleed point can block so if you bleed it and nothing comes out try poking it with something sharp.

Yeah, that usually makes things bleed!
Joking aside, that is a very good tip. A failure to fully bleed the cooling system really does mean trouble, sooner than later.
