I remember seeing one of these sitting in the showroom in 1970. I walked passed it every day on the way to school.
I fell in love. :yesnod:
What do you reckon, cool?

Unfortunately Datsun took this great car and in the form of the 260Z made it softer, heavier and slower before they completely lost the plot with 280Z.
The 240Z was designed by Albrecht Goertz who also designed the beautiful BMW 507.

Posted 12 years 8 months ago #42581In the early 80's a friend's brother had one on loan. It was an ex-race car, still with it's roll cage and quite a hot engine. It was serial number 000011. At the time I could have bought it for $2500. Coulda, woulda, shoulda! :slapme:
We did have some fun test drives in it though. Fast, nimble, fun!
