Thanks for all the comments - I'm glad we can appreciate these iconic models and the home restorer's skill.
Interestingly, I think there are more octagon references on this car than any other MG I've seen (prove me wrong!).
Anyway, suitable encouraged I've uploaded some more shots.

I think it would be better with some LED puddle lights though........

Only £40K! However, I was talking to the owner of a 1929 Bentley 4 1/2 lites with VDP body work and he'd spent £40K last year on an engine rebuild (the Bentley would cost around £660K....). To be fair to the Bentley owner, who is a very nice chap, he does around 6000 miles a year in it including an annual trip from north of Inverness to London in about 11 hours so it's nice to see the car used.
Be thankful that we can indulge in our love (and occasionally 'hate') of a real British sports car for the price of a TV set.

Remember one of my mates from college was restoring a J2 with his dad. Someone walked down the drive and made off with the dashboard. His dad got a new one made up, never did know if he got it on the road.
Wonder if 80 odd years from now someone will be rebuilding a F/TF????
