My 2004 MGTF has started to miss when trying to acclerate also when i put the trottle down to speed up any help would be great full.

Have you checked the usual suspects? Spark plugs, ignition leads, etc? How's your air filter? Clean?

Hi, I had a rough running/tick over problem so I bought new coils and high tension leads, seems ok now.

+1 for that. The insulating material beneath the coils had visibly deteriorated on one of mine (bits dropping off) losing sparek effectiveness. It ran like an asthmatioc 3 legged mule when i got it and was instantly sorted by replacing the coils and leads.
