Air intake for Heater.
I had to replace the heater control resistor a couple of days ago, not a big problem and successfully completed. But the original air intake box in the front had been replaced for the newer one and this is where the problem is, when refitting the elbowed tube from the intake to the heater it doesn't seal correctly to the underside of that intake ... there's a large at least 25/30mm gap towards the front underside of it as if something is missing thereby not allowing it to seal and allowing air into the footwell rather than the heater. As anyone else that has carried out this conversion experienced this problem and if so how was it rectified? Regards. D4KGP.

Hi, thanks for your interest. But I'm not going to remove the glove box etc just to take a picture, even if I did it wouldn't show the gap that I mentioned. I will have to get back in there
at some point in the future to sort it out, I may even remove the snorkel to see what's up. Regards G. I have thought a bit more about this problem so when I next get in there I am going to try to stick some split pipe insulation which would be somewhere near the gap size to the underside of the snorkel and see if that seals it.
