MGF ignition Coil & Crank Sensor Plugs

After a strip and rebuild my MGF has a Cranking/No Start problem. Wondering if I have mixed-up the 2 pin Crank Sensor plug and the 2 pin Ignition Coil plug. One is blue and the other black. Can anyone tell me which is which please?

For MG F cars before MEMS 3, ignition coil connector is BLACK and cranckshaft sensor connector is BLUE.
