ok I don't THINK I have HGF
this is a bit of an odd set of bits and bobs so here goes
my car is loosing coolant, its only been doing so since my flexi pipe went, coincidence? who knows
but it doesn't seem to be HGF, it looks like a leak, which only seems to happen when the engine is warm
now hears an odd one
i dont know if its over heating
because of my custom clocks i have had the needle off the water temp gauge and back on and i can't be 100% sure that its reading right but it is dam high (that might just mean its at normal temp though so do you see my problem? lol)
anyway no mayo or anything but for the life of me i can't find the dam leak!
any ideas?

The inlet manifold gasket is one of the invisible leak candidates.
Feel underneath for coolant.

I have a Fluke laser temperature reader. You point the laser at the thing you want to check and it gives you a readout. We could compare temps on Sunday. I assume it is the Teeside meet on Sunday.
