Is that with the new pads in?

Hmm, that's a little bit worrying
Are the pads sitting in the calipers ok? Does that mean that the brackets might be slightly out of line with the disc perhaps? I don't plan on fitting mine until I've rebuilt a set of rear calipers so need to get hold of them first :yesnod:

For it to be the adaptors I think I would have noticed if they were out of square when I was measuring them. I will give them a while before making any drastic moves on trying to find a cause.

Yep :yesnod: They should be looking at the price to replace them too, £145 plus the maching cost Makes sense as to why the kit costs so much now though

Cool. Mine have just turned up so I'll get out tomorrow and attempt to fit them when I stick the 15"s back on, depending on weather of course and whether I feel any better or not

Hi Gran, I've got a couple of eggs here if you'd like to wrap your gums round........was just having a thought, but the caliper pistons are in straight aren't they? If they were wound in to facilitate the new pads, maybe the locating dowel on the piston is c@ck-eyeing the pad causing it to only bite on half its surface...:sofa:

Hmmm. I did think that so I took the calipers off last thursday and checked that the dowel was located in one of the piston recesses.
I don't mind sucking eggs, it was only earlier in the week I found out about this from PeteVick.

Does fitting the bigger disc mean that the standard 14" spare wheel will no longer fit?
Meaning, I suppose, that a new full sized spare will need to be purchased. :dunno:
