pictures... how do i?

at long last ive managed to get some pics of moodie onto the laptop, whilst i was on a roll i even uploaded them to my garage\album. not wanting to stop there ive even got a image shack thingy to work, but i cant work out how to post a pic in a thread doh!:dunno: any advice?

Copy the IMG code from the photo website.

When you are writing a new post, paste the IMG code in the body of the text.

Simples.

Or select the "Insert image" icon (looks like a little painting) above where you type in and insert the picture address in there and it will wrap the address in img code. Simples.

If you adjust your images to 800x600, that's about the right size.
I don't know what photo software you use but in photoshop there's a facility for 'Save for web'. That really cuts the size of the file down, without affecting the picture size. Then if you reduce the 'save for web' down to 800x600 the file size is usually small enough to upload/download quickly.

I'd open a photobucket account hun as you can just upload the pics then resize them before pasting the links. Alternatively download Ifranview to resize pictures on you laptop/pc fast: http://www.irfanview.com/
