I've been Russelled
pleased to say everything went to plan, the HG is all sorted and i wholly recommend his services, cheers russel.....bloody newcastle!!!..........
so bring on the summer :sunshine:
as clive had popped over to meet russel, it seemed a shame not to go for a road test after Russell had departed, half way round i was beginning to wonder if it was such a good idea :scared:
and heres a video of the music being played........

Me and Anne went to Phils house today to see his car being operated on by Dr Russell MD (or was that MG?).
It was nice to meet Russell who seems a genuinely nice bloke and knows what he is talking about.
Also eat lots of Hobnobs and a bacon stotty.
It was well worth it for all that, but was also worth it for the look on Phils face to see his TF alive once again.
It was doubly worth it for the "My HG is fixed lets try it" drive out.
Imagine if you will, 2 lone MGTFs striving against the whims of nature (with roofs down of course), treating Northumberland, Durham....er Durham, Northumberland (just how many times did we cross that border?) to the sweet sweet sound of multiple screaming Daytonas. It was a heartwarming moment.....Well it would have been, apart from the snow.
Here's some pic's for you.
And here is the sweet sweet sound of 2 Daytonas in a very short tunnel.
